Birmingham International railway station, next to the airport, has a direct train to Oxford. Heathrow and Gatwick have trains but you have to change in London for a further service to Oxford.
From Oxford, you can pick up a taxi or catch a local bus, S3, from either the railway station or Gloucester Green bus station.
Oxford provides the principal connections to/from London (Paddington), Bournemouth, Hereford & Worcester, Birmingham, Manchester & further north operated by various rail companies.
There are frequent services between Oxford (Main and Parkway) and London Marylebone. Oxford Parkway lies between Kidlington and Oxford beside the existing Water Eaton park-and-ride site, which has easy car access from Woodstock.
Taxis are available at the railway station in Oxford, but there is also a frequent and convenient bus service from the station forecourt directly to Woodstock.
