Woodstock

Woodstock is a picture-perfect historic market town with the added unusual feature of having Blenheim Palace a World Heritage site and often referred to as the Finest Palace in Britain within walking distance.

In addition to this Woodstock offers all the amenities and creature comforts one would expect, all in a very traditional setting with many amber-coloured streets to explore and historic buildings to discover.

There are also numerous restaurants, coffee shops and traditional pubs to enjoy.

Blenheim Palace

Blenheim Palace is a truly magical place to see. As mentioned above the palace is a World Heritage site and often referred to as the Finest Palace in Britain hosting two thousand acres of parkland, landscaped and sculpted by the famous Capability Brown, including such features as the Great Lake, Formal Palatial Gardens and Temple of Diana as well as being the birth place of Sir Winston Churchill.

The Palace holds many events all year round so there is usually always something new to see. In more recent times the palace has been host to the television show Countryfile; there are the battle proms and horse trials, Christmas fairs and food festivals so plenty to see and do right on your doorstep.
